Senior Interiors Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Interiors Technician to support Project Directors and Directors within a fast-paced, design-led interiors studio.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop technical expertise, take ownership of complex interior projects, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Revit capabilities, a solid understanding of BIM processes, and experience in workplace interiors is highly desirable.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

 

• Provide technical and design support to Project Directors and Directors across interior design projects.

• Assist in the delivery of projects across Planning, Tender, and Construction stages.

• Prepare high-quality technical drawing packages, including detailed Revit models, documentation, and file management.

• Produce and coordinate technical Revit packages in line with BIM standards and project requirements.

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, CAD layouts, computer visualisations, and presentation boards.

• Coordinate and manage consultant services drawings and models to ensure design integration.

• Attend meetings with clients to assist in assessing project requirements, costs, and technical specifications.

• Liaise with contractors and consultant teams to support effective design coordination and delivery.

• Assist project architects, associates, and partners with design and technical documentation.

• Produce NBS specifications and contribute to overall technical quality and consistency.

• Support Revit project setup, collaboration, and model management across teams.

• Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required to support the business and project teams. Qualifications, experience, and skills:

• Proven experience working within an Architectural and/or Interior Design practice.

• Intermediate to advanced Revit proficiency (essential).

• Demonstrable experience on UK-based projects.

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, workflows, and coordination.

• Good working knowledge of UK building regulations and construction fundamentals.

• Strong technical detailing and documentation skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication abilities.

• Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Computer literate with strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Experience working on workplace / commercial interiors projects is desirable.

• Ability to communicate design ideas three-dimensionally.

• Freehand sketching ability.

• Strong conceptual design and presentation skills.

• A strong team player with a collaborative mindset.

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel or work extended hours when required by project demands.

• Calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
