About the role
Woods Bagot’s Sydney studio is embarking on an exciting new chapter, with major, city-shaping projects underway in 2026.
As a global, multi-award-winning practice, we design thoughtful interior environments across a range of scales, shaping how people live, work, and connect. Based in Sydney, you’ll contribute to complex, high-profile projects while engaging with a global network where ideas move freely and design excellence creates meaningful impact.
We’re looking for a Senior Associate Interior Designer to join the team, with a strong focus on multi residential projects. You’ll lead projects from concept through to delivery, working closely with clients and collaborating across multiple teams within the Sydney studio. This is a key client facing role where you’ll help shape design direction, build strong relationships, and guide projects both creatively and commercially.
About you
You’re an experienced Interior Designer operating at a senior or associate level, with a strong background in multi residential projects. You’re confident working directly with clients and enjoy collaborating across teams to drive outcomes.
You bring:
- Proven experience delivering multi residential projects
- Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to commercial or mixed use work
- A balance of design thinking and delivery capability
- The ability to lead, mentor, and take ownership
You’re collaborative, proactive, and comfortable navigating complexity, with a genuine focus on delivering high quality design.
Mandatory Requirement: It is an essential requirement that at the time of applying for this position applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia (an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)
