Employment Type

Location

Workplace type

Our multi-disciplinary urban design team is looking for recent graduates with a degree in Architecture or Urban Design to assist with our masterplanning and speculative housing services.
Key Competencies
Candidates will work on vision statements and masterplans of varying scales, taking projects from initial concept through outline and detailed planning stages. They will gain experience with existing building types as well as bespoke homes and mixed‑use buildings and will become familiar with producing design codes to support long‑term masterplan delivery. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with the wider Urbanism team and work independently. Candidates should be able to design by hand and digitally; ArchiCAD experience is useful but not essential, and no previous background in traditional or classical architecture is required - only a genuine enthusiasm for the traditional and contextual urbanism the practice promotes.
Applicants should demonstrate an awareness of site and context analysis, urban form and character assessment, and be willing to assist with feasibility studies, detailed layouts, design guidelines, planning documentation, Design and Access Statements, and planning applications. They should also be willing to support public and stakeholder engagement activities. Strong interpersonal skills, good organisation, self‑motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team - while taking responsibility for their own actions are essential.
