KPF is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join the team in London to assist and support the integration of BIM related technologies with KPF’s design and business processes on large high-profile projects.
This position requires previous professional experience with BIM technologies – i.e. Revit, ACC, Navisworks, etc. – and their application to the design, construction and fabrication phases of large, global and complex projects.
The candidate should have at least 3 years of architectural professional experience with strong documentation skills, experience on large-scale projects, and ability to be flexible and work well/collaborate with team members.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with the development and updates to BIM protocols specific to the project.
• Develop customized workflows to automate the monitoring and extraction of data from multiple models.
• Collation of data and visualization for presentations.
• Assist in organizing and running BIM-related meetings and managing project records.
• BIM QA/QC & Compliance Management through ISO 19650.
• Develop and implement a clash detection process for the project.
• Provide BIM onboarding for new design team members.
• Interface with software support engineers to quickly resolve more complex problems.
• Assist with integration of cloud based collaborative technologies.
• Utilizes specialist knowledge to conduct complex modelling, data management, analysis and/or optimization for architectural designs.
• Ensure project teams meet clients’ BIM requirements and delivery standards.
• Perform audits to ensure health of the BIM model throughout the project cycle.
• Acts as a leader and mentor by coaching and motivating project team members in the use of advanced Revit technologies.
• Maintain current knowledge of design software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Revit modelling, documentation and creative solutions – over 5 years professional and/ or specific academic BIM application.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to clearly present information.
• Experience with modelling applications Rhino, Visual Programming (Grasshopper/Dynamo), Enscape and VR, or Scripting Languages (i.e. Python, C#, C++, etc.) is a plus.
• ISO 19650 certification preferred.
Work Environment:
This position requires you to be in person in our London office 5 days per week, 9am – 6pm.
